Stephan Gauch

Dr. Stephan Gauch  is a Senior Researcher at the Robert K. Merton Center for Science Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and is specialized in reflexive bibliometrics. He completed his PhD in 2011, focusing on the interlinkage between research and standardization in information communication technology (ICT), for which he received the “Sonderpreis Wissenschaft 2012” from the German Institute for Standardization (DIN). From 2012 to 2014, he worked at Fraunhofer FOKUS on ICT-related topics such as big data analytics and standardization strategies. Prior to that, he held positions at the Technical University in Berlin and Fraunhofer ISI, specializing in innovation economics and policy.
