Dr. Jason Woodhouse is an aquatic microbial ecologist currently working together with the University of Hamburg and Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) in Berlin. His work focuses on understanding how global change and urbanisation impact biodiversity and functioning of phytoplankton and bacteria, with a focus on the interaction between human activity and evolution of toxic cyanobacteria.
