Hans-Peter Grossart

Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Grossart is Professor for Biodiversity and Aquatic Microbiology, Uni Potsdam and group leader at the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) in Berlin. He has been studied microbial communities and their ecological role in various aquatic ecosystems and is involved in many interdisciplinary projects addressing global change impacts on aquatic ecosystem functioning and health, e.g. in the Leibniz research network Infections.
